STUDY IN NEW ZEALAND
New Zealand is a cost effective alternative to the UK or Australia. It is a good option for students seeking outdoor adventure in an English speaking country. Although there are no ‘official’ rankings of institutions in the New Zealand, many private bodies and organisations publish their own rankings of institutions each year.
The application process and the turnaround times will vary from one institution to the other. The Universities and ITP’S (institute of technology and polytechnics) have an average turnaround time for an offer letter that is anything between 6-10 weeks. The private institutions will have a faster turnaround time. Hence it is advised to apply early.
COSMO will help you compile your application and send it out to the institution.
The documents required for the admissions and for the assessment are: mark sheets and passing certificates of previous studies, work experience letters (if applicable), reference letters, IELTS score card to assess English proficiency, ID( pages of passport). Additional documents (Statement of purpose and CV) can be asked by the counsellor if required, depending on the course you have selected.
Intakes: New Zealand generally has two intakes in a year i.e. February/March and July/ August. However some courses have multiple intakes in a year.
